Looking to the back of the house...big windows!!

Micah most likely checking his cell phone.......
Looking at the back of the house and the framing...
the sun sets on the house on the hill...

Oh wow..another gorgeous sunset on 2370 Ridge Road....

They are putting up the pressed board walls in this shot...
It starts to look more like a house each day we come out to look!
We have a roof and peaks going up!!! Way cool.
All the trusses ...makes a neat picture, right Jenna??
Looking out to the future covered deck...

this is the covered deck going up...just the roof portion

Hole #18 in our back yard

the shingles are going up and on.......
Our builder Doug up on the roof shingling.....

Did I mention how gorgeous the sunsets are up on Ridge Road?

We were kind of amazed that the deck roof is supported by those two skinny poles....and that's all that is holding it up.....
Micah standing on the scaffolding out in front...

July 19,2008    The Tyvek house wrap is going on.....

July 23, 2008.......the driveway is in! And this is the future basketball court as well. I  had a 3 hour meeting with the electrician last night going over all the lighting and deciding where every light switch would be placed(wonder where dad was.....) that was intense. Mike the electrician was very patient and helpful and we did get it all figured out. And I learned a lot about wiring in those three hours. We will keep you all posted on any new changes  on the new home front. A BIG thank you to daughter Amy for putting all of the photos on the blog for you all to enjoy.
